this is kinda of a sneak peek post. there is another part to it, but i wanted to get to the juicy part first.

when we planned a trip to the bahamas with our good friends, niki and marcus, niki had asked us if we would do a just because session while we were there. well lets think. hmm. on the beach, in the bahamas, OF COURSE!

BUT, marcus had another plan.

I found out the night before the shoot. I kinda felt like this lady from in this SNL clip the whole time during the shoot:

Dan and Rachel are a husband and wife photography team up in Cedar Falls, Iowa.  So of course when they contacted us to do their photos, we were well…nervous? Scratch that, I was nervous. Beau is always the calm and collected of the two of us. And I just talk a million miles a minute when I am all nervous. Beau has to squeeze my leg under the table to let me know. There the secret is out, I am a nervous talker. Every session I get all jittery, hence the reason I can’t drink coffee at least 3 day prior to a session. But especially with these two, because they are photographers.  But the moment we met up with them, I was fine.

We only had this one day to do the session, they were leaving the next day to go back home. We crossed our fingers that Florida’s skies wouldn’t do the typically afternoon rain dump. And then we added some fairy dust to help with a possible sunset for the beach shots.  I have a friend of a friend who knows Tinkerbell, so we get hook ups of fairy dust every now and again.

Dan just covered Rachel in kisses all day! I love love. (Is that a real sentence?)

I adore this shot. We were so excited that we had a little color in the sky. Didn’t think that we were going to get anymore than that.

And then BAM. The sun came out in full force with a stunning sunset.

these guys were hilarious. so of course we had to get a picture of them.

Here is some more fun that was had at the bachelorette party shoot that we did last weekend! holla to my newest sister of almost a year for helping me out on this shoot. She did a great job!

This was about the only serious pose we got of the girls. We couldn’t help but giggle when they tried. But when they got it, hello hotstuffs!

A super cute shot from the bachelorette party photo shoot that we did this weekend.

Beau and I met Courtney and Kevin at UCF, where they will both be graduating from very soon! We tracked all over the campus while talking about their upcoming wedding and the people we know in common. It was like we were just hanging out with old friends taking pictures. When it came time to wrap up the session, we continued to talk. Then it came out that Kevin loves the outdoors and Beau’s eyes lit up like a child that just saw the REAL Santa. So needless to say we are definitely going to see more of these guys real soon! And we can’t wait : )

We were thissss close to getting a picture of them on the statue. But really…our luck we would have been arrested by the UCF police or something.

My view…I always knew Tracy had a super power…now I know it is that she can fly. Shhh, don’t tell anyone.

So the red chair in this next series was pretty much the inspiration for the shoot.  After driving the 1 and 1/2 hour journey to a field that I really wanted to shoot in…we found it MOWED DOWN!!  Buuuuuuuuuuuuttt….everything happens for a reason and on the way to the beach we spotted this area. I loved how the setting sun covered the field in most gorgeous light.

If you were to look up beautiful in the dictionary, you will find Tracy’s picture. It’s a true story.

I am pretty sure this is one of my favorite pictures of all time!

and BAM! the sun showed her stuff AGAIN!!!
