so when we enter the park to shoot son + katie we noticed one or two of these birds in the trees. upon further inspection, every tree was covered with these giant white birds nesting. and, well, pooping. i caught myself looking up at them, realizing my mouth was wide open. i quickly shut it and went on happily shooting. hoping not to get pooped on.

they brought their furry baby girl, Zoe, with them so we could get some family photos. she was too cute.

a special shout out to our friends connie and rick for letting us borrow their super cute canoe. i wish i would have taken a picture of it strapped to the roof of our tiny car. it was quite comical.

not the notebook, i believe is the only request that ryan gave steph about the engagement session pictures. well, not that it is…but it was in the same era.

my little sister is getting hitched. i can’t believe it. and of course i am photographing it, but i also am serving the duties as matron of honor. it can be done. been there done that before.

we photographed their session in our little town of winter garden. it was the perfect backdrop! especially this old elevator. you have to be licensed to operate it. its serious business

we then headed to the ice cream parlor, where ryan was harassed about how much he looked like brad pitt.

the harassment of brad pitt being in winter garden continued to the barber shop. where we had people standing around watching them. lol

we popped over to old town in kissimmee to shoot joe and shaina’s 50s style engagements. we had never been out there before. its a crazy little place… to say the least.

when she came out of the diner restroom from changing into her outfit, joe said to me “she is so beautiful”. wow everyone with me…”awwwwwwwww”.

this pose was inspired by a picture i saw of james dean awhile back.

i am pretty sure this one is my favorite. i called it right there too. i just love how sassy it is. and yes i just said sassy.

so this is beau taste testing their yucky milkshake, at least that is what we thought it was. turns out it was a malt. so moral of the story, beau will drink stuff that may or may not be spoiled and/or disgusting.

We pushed the session a little later than we normally shoot, because we lost some time in the beginning since the weather wasn’t cooperating. I am so glad we did, because this is my favorite!

We first met Kristin when she was the DJ at our wedding. We have kept in touch since and when she contacted us about doing her engagements, we were beyond excited. I also love the fact that she knew exactly what she wanted the engagement session to look like. Well, she had a pretty detailed list and I think we covered most of it, well except for the rocking chair…you’re welcome Mark

When I posted Kristin’s teaser on Saturday she said it was worst than leaving one oreo in the box. Well, here is the rest of the Oreos for you Kristin.
