how do we get so lucky to have such beautiful couples?

love love.

beau showing amanda how to flip her hair. hmmmm.

never go into a field without bugspray!

let’s talk. first: we LOVE to travel. so YES we will come to you. second: we love dogs. so YES please bring your pup with you to your session. case in point:
alexis contacted us about her and mark’s wedding next year at hammock beach and mentioned that they were planning on doing their engagement session in chattanooga, where they live. we practically jumped in the car right then! mountains? changing leaves? nice cool weather? yes please! and then came the question. “can we bring our puppy, luna?” heck yes! we have three pups ourselves, so we love to have the furry kids in the pictures.

baby luna, tuna, buna, toons, loonie, lunatic, puppy loons

alexis, you are going to be a GORGEOUS bride!

a little shout out to VW. because if it wasn’t for them, mark and alexis would have never met.

ali and brian aren’t professional models, although you would think they are!
we met up and snapped a few on the dock at her parent’s home.
then we headed to the bolles school where they met and went to high school.
<3
they are just so sweet together!
these two met under this tree, during a fire drill at school. although, from what we gathered, ali had her eye on brian long before that. since it had a special place in their hearts, brian asked ali to marry him under this tree.
then we headed down to jax beach. my view.
beau’s view.
no beau is not growing his hair back out on purpose. after a slight run in with a surfboard, which resulted in a nice little gash on his dome, he has been forced not to shave. for now. scars are cool, so he says.

here i am trying to obviously exfoliate my knee caps with the beach sand.

have i ever mentioned on here that we have the best job ever? we get to meet super awesome couples at the happiest time in their lives. it really is mind blowing that we do this for a living. chris and teddi. case in point.
love their style. and for those who mentioned the “jcrew” style in their preview…it just so happens that is where teddi got her dress. and i so want one just like it, in brandy burridge green. (oh btw i officially have renamed the green color in my logo..brandy burridge green.)

i bet their cheeks hurt the next day. we laughed the whole time.

cute story. when i was speaking with teddi on the phone getting her information, i asked what her fiancees name was and she said chris. and his last name…wait for it…is bair (pronounced bear). her name is going to be teddy bear! what a coincidence.

i <3 moss!

cuddle time on her family’s dock.

<3

as we were wrapping u,p teddi’s mom came out of the house with an armful of teddy bears. how could we resist not to take a picture of them. i had the teddy bear picnic song in my head the whole drive home. the whole 2 hours.

me, trying to position myself to get the sun flare just right…aka blinding myself.

here i am trying to either show chris how i wanted him to dip teddi or i have a really bad pain in my neck.

i promise that the plank below my foot was previously bent like that and my weight on it is not causing it to sag.

beau was helping chris pick the perfect size cattail for the ring shot we wanted. now that i look at it, looks more like an accident definitely waiting to happen.
