she said “yes, of course i will” | surprise proposal | the bahamas
Thursday, July 15th, 2010this is kinda of a sneak peek post. there is another part to it, but i wanted to get to the juicy part first.
when we planned a trip to the bahamas with our good friends, niki and marcus, niki had asked us if we would do a just because session while we were there. well lets think. hmm. on the beach, in the bahamas, OF COURSE!
BUT, marcus had another plan.
reaching for the ring out of his pocket.
im pretty sure niki is still in shock here.
YES!
I found out the night before the shoot. I kinda felt like this lady from in this SNL clip the whole time during the shoot:

a cool springs maternity session | blue springs state park | danielle
Tuesday, July 13th, 2010a cool springs maternity session…well maybe i should say COLD. but wow. it was totally worth it. thankyouthankyouthankyou danielle for getting in the water and acting less girlie about it than i did. HA. thankyouthankyouthankyou brian sumner for assisting me for the day AND for carrying and NOT dropping our equipment in the springs!
i really think that all pregnant ladies are just drop dead gorgeous. and really, danielle completely blew this session out of the water…hahhahaha, pun intended. (man im a dork) anywho, bring on the pictures!
she used to play on this tree when she was a little girl. awww.
i thought that this had to be the most cutest maternity dress ever. but then to find out that it really was just a regular non maternity dress that her husband had picked up for her. and with the boots. i was in heaven!
it was pretty hot this day, so to get in the water was a bit refreshing, buuut after 40 minutes it started to get a little cold freezing.
her necklace, her earrings, her top, her skirt, her eyes, her belly, the water. magic.
i know that this one is similar, but i love it and had to post it as well. its my blog. and i get to do it.
last shot of the day. my favorite!

and we’re gonna get married | donna marie + anthony | part 2
Thursday, July 8th, 2010Now on to the rest of the fun.
Lee’s Forrest Design did an amazing job, just a sample here with Donna Marie’s bouquet:
Smile!
Donna-Marie’s favorite part of the wedding I think. She told me she was obsessed with her cake from Sprinkles:
These girls were so much fun. And I am totally getting that dress on the right!! HA.
It is a very hard job being a flower girl.
Much like it helps us ladies to put mascara on while our mouths are open…so does it help with Beau’s photography form.
