Last year two of our best friends got married and this year they CELEBRATED!! Chris and Tonya planned everything from arranging a live band down to the having orchids flown in from Hawaii. Along with the help of Ami and Jessica from M&A Creations and other friends and family, everything went as planned, not even the wind could put a damper on the evening.

Chris and Tonya go together like two peas in a pod, like peanut butter and jelly, or like rice and gravy. These two are truly the epitome of genuine, down to earth, beautiful people who are in love. Beau and I could not ask for better friends, we are so grateful that they are in our lives.

You may recognized these two from a past shoot that we did with Ryan’s sister, Carly. This was before they were engaged, but we all knew that Ryan had the ring and was going to propose soon after the shoot. Clarissa laughed the day of the session when we informed her that we all knew. I mean really, were we going to let the cat out of the bag? We are completely bummed that we aren’t shooting the wedding because Jared, Beau’s brother is graduating with his PharmD in New York that weekend, but I am confident Divine Light will do an amazing job.

Since we can’t be their for the wedding, we were really grateful that we got to hang out and do their engagement session. We met them in Tampa and we were going to shoot in Hyde Park, but oops..there was a huge art festival going on, so we moved it over to the University of Tampa. What a magnificent campus for such a beautiful charming couple.

Thanks again Ryan for the Gatorade and the ride back to the car, ever figure out the passcode to the radio?

Clarissa’s laugh is too cute!

We drove up to St. Petersburg to meet up with Darren and Jessica for their engagement session. We drove through rain and dark clouds, but as soon as we arrived we were happy to see the sun decided to join us. The weather was perfect and so were Jessica and Darren. (oooh and the chocolate chip cookies that Jessica baked for us, yummy!). Thanks for making this shoot so easy. We have the most gorgeous clients, aren’t we lucky? I sure think so, see for yourselves!
