On Thursday, Beau, our three pups and I drove from sunny warm Florida to wintery New York to visit family. We drove straight through and it really wasn’t that bad of a drive. It didn’t seem to take as long as we thought. And the dogs were great, they just pretty much slept the entire way. We got here just in time, right before they got a foot of snow. I have NEVER experienced this much snow! We can’t wait to go snowboarding it in. woo hoo.

It has been pretty much snowing since we got here. This is the first time the dogs have ever seen snow. I don’t think they really knew what to do in it. But now they are loving it! With the exception of Karma, our little one, she is too short to enjoy it.

Serendipity (aka dipity) and Oona:

Thank goodness my brother and his fiancee just moved from Chicago to Florida a week before we left, they gave us a load of winter clothes to bring with us. I seriously own 1 sweater. One.

Here is a peeky poo of the family that we shot on Saturday. What a dynamic bunch! After ice cream promises and a boost of confidence from Grandma, I think we finally broke little Reid and boy was he giving us his all with those baby blues! And despite a cloud cover that was less than perfect, I think we rocked this family session!

My super friend Carly contacted me about doing some pictures of her and her brother for their parents for Christmas. Of course I said no. Really I don’t want to take pictures of her…she might break my camera.

I hope the ‘rents love the pictures! We had a great time…even with the little bit of rain and the electrical cord.

I just mentioned to someone earlier today that seriously a 2 year old could take pictures of these guys and they would turn out beautiful. Could they take a bad picture? Um, no.

This guy and gal are super fun! We didn’t have one moment when we weren’t cracking up during this session. Just when we thought that Allen was going to master his “serious” face, we would all start laughing and he would start smiling again. I am pretty sure we could shoot them everyday…maybe our abs would tone up a little from all the laughing.

Another fantabulous family. Baby Harper had stayed up late the night before partying like the little rockstar that he is so he was a little tired during the shoot. But I think that he gave us his all. And we got some great pictures of him and his gorgeous parents.
