secret proposal | engagement pictures | ray and rebbie
Tuesday, November 25th, 2008ay contacted me about photographing him proposing to his girlfriend rebbie at lake eola. we met on friday at lake eola to go over the details. that was interesting in of its own, because i decided that my three dogs would like to come with me to go for a walk around the lake. bad idea! i totally forgot there are tons of birds and squirrels at the park and the dogs wanted nothing more than to chase after them. i will spare you those details, on to the fun part. on top of proposing, ray had finally decided to give in to rebbie’s dream to have a puppy, which was also a surprise. so this past sunday we picked up the precious little pup from one of his coworkers. beau took charge of the puppy while i hid to become paparazzi to this whole scheme. as i was waiting, three people with a blanket approached the spot where we had decided that would be the best place to picnic and propose. i had to run up and ask them to please not take the spot and they were more than happy to oblige. they sat just a little way away so they could watch this go down. which came as a blessing because i ended up setting (well hiding behind them) with them to take ray and rebbies pictures. they never saw me. i was so nervous. i never thought that i could be a part of the paparazzi breed, but i guess i didn’t do so bad.
sitting up the picnic:
surprise number one:
beau and ray work together so he walked by with the puppy and pretended to see them and asked them to watch the dog while he went out to his car. and then ray told her that the little guy was hers. this is her reaction. i think she was pretty happy.
ray wiping away her “happy” tears:
surprise two.
afterwards we did some engagement photos:
rebbie is absolutely stunning. not to mention a natural in front of the camera:
my favorite picture of the day:
thanks so much, ray and rebbie, for having us photograph one of the most important days of your lives together. we had so much fun being paparazzi for a day. enjoy being engaged, its great!
