Keisha and Johnny || Wedding Pictures || St. Martinville, Lousiana

Thursday, October 30th, 2008

Before I say anything about the details of this wedding, I first have to thank each and everyone in Loreauville for making our stay such a delightful experience. Granny, I really wish I could have taken you home with us! The home cooked feasts were scrumptious to say the least. And if I could get some more of those crawfish potpies that would be fantastic! I think that Johnny said it the best “if you guys go hungry, it’s your own fault!” HA!

Here is just a “taste” of the wedding!

If you have never been to Louisana, well especially in my experience of New Iberia, there are sugar cane fields EVERWHERE! So Beau and I felt it appropriate to incorporate them into our pictures. I think that we nearly gave a couple of folks a heart attack when they saw what we were doing.

They opted for a first look. Johnny was too cute with anticipation on seeing Keisha. She looked stunning, I can’t believe he didn’t fall over.

But this face was priceless! And if you can’t see it from the size of this picture…there are tears welled up in his eyes.

I loved her hairpiece.

One word: Gorgeous!

The cakes were stunning! The grooms cake had sugar cover fruit surrounding it. The person cutting the cake turned to me and said that she felt like she was a murder, she didn’t want to cut the wedding cake because it was so beautiful. I didn’t blame her, it was by far a masterpiece!

Beau caught this tender moment. Love it!

And in your head you should be singing now “come on ride the train, the choo choo train” Keisha’s dad was priceless in this picture.

And really, we couldn’t resist getting a shot of the rings with a crawfish. And yes, he is alive!

Johnny and Keisha, thank you again, for allowing Beau and I the opportunity to photograph you wedding. We really felt like part of the family. Our faces hurt the next day because we were smiling so hard throughout the day. I hope that you are having a wonderful, relaxing time in Jamaica. Love, Beau and Brandy.
